BODEGAS NEXUS
CAMINO PARDO
Camino Pardo Álvarez comes from a large country family, a union between a Castillian father and an Asturian mother. She and her 6 siblings prospered without luxuries, but in an environment rich in love, encouragement and artistic development.
A true Renaissance Woman, Camino holds a degree in Philosophy and Literature, an Executive MBA in Management and Business Administration by Instituto de Empresa, is a Property Administrator and Real Estate Agent in Spain and earned the title of Expert in Conflict Mediation from the Pontifical University of Salamanca.
She has held an integral role at NEXUS & FRONTAURA since 1999, active both in the production process, viticulture and enology, as well as in the marketing of the wines, positioning them on the international market. In 2004, she became General Manager of MARQUES DE VALDELACASA, BODEGAS FRONTAURA and NEXUS.
NEXUS & FRONTAURA was established in 1840 when the first vineyards were planted in the Toro region by the Gonzalez family, the ancestors of Camino’s husband. The 1990s saw the couple dedicate their energies to elevating the quality of the wines produced there, and today Camino is proud to produce wines of distinction and elegance from these remarkable vineyards.
MARQUES DE VALDELACASA operates 250 hectares of agricultural production, of which 160 are vineyards of Tinta Tempranillo grape - 120 in the Toro region, 40 in Ribera del Duero and 12 hectares of Verdejo in Rueda. BODEGAS FRONTAURA and NEXUS BODEGAS produce wines in the most prestigious appellations of origin in Castilla y León: Toro, Ribera del Duero and Rueda.
